Clinical Supervision.

Philosophy and Approach.

Amy’s approach to supervision is centered on building a respectful, professional relationship where the supervisor and supervisee work together to support the supervisee’s growth as a counselor. She uses a flexible, developmental model to help her supervisees strengthen their skills and gain confidence in their work with clients. Supervision focuses on refining each supervisee’s unique counseling style, deepening their professional identity, and enhancing key clinical skills such as case conceptualization, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, ethics, and multicultural competence. Throughout the process, Amy takes on different roles—at times a teacher, consultant, counselor, or evaluator—to help her supervisees develop into the best counselors they can be.
