Sidney Hill

Counseling Student
Sidney believes that therapy should offer a warm and affirming space where all people feel seen, heard, and supported. She views counseling as a collaborative and creative process that helps clients find more spaciousness in their lives — creating room to feel, to breathe, and to live with greater ease. Sidney’s hope is that clients leave therapy feeling more grounded, capable of navigating life’s stressors, and more confident in themselves.
Sidney prefers a natural, unstructured flow to therapy, letting her clients’ experiences guide their work together. She approaches counseling with curiosity, humor, and a strengths-based, trauma-informed lens. Sidney enjoys weaving in grounding techniques, metaphors, and media (especially books) as tools for reflection and growth. Above all, she is passionate about building a space rooted in creativity, connection, and authenticity, where clients can explore who they are without judgment.
Sidney primarily works with adolescents and young adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, and identity development. She especially enjoys working with individuals who are new to therapy or who may feel uncertain about beginning their counseling journey.
Currently, Sidney offers telehealth services only. She values the flexibility, comfort, and deeper sense of connection that telehealth can provide, especially in a world that often feels fast-paced and overwhelming.
Sidney is earning her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Fox University. In her free time, you can find her knitting her next project, golfing, paddleboarding, getting creative, or dreaming about her next travel adventure.
