Our work is guided by the American Counseling Association’s 2014 Code of Ethics. Its core values include supporting growth across the lifespan, respecting each person’s cultural context and dignity, advancing social justice, protecting trust in counseling relationships, and maintaining professional competence.
What this means at Always Wellness
We are committed to affirming care and to respecting people of all identities and backgrounds. Inclusivity means welcoming people across sexual orientations, gender identities, races, cultures, faiths, and abilities. We support fair and equitable treatment and oppose discrimination, prejudice, and intolerance.
Ethical counseling includes respecting your choices, discussing confidentiality and its limits, explaining services and fees, and working within each clinician’s training and competence. You are welcome to ask questions about your care or raise concerns with your counselor.
