Licensed Professional Counselor - Oregon.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Washington.

Supervisor Candidate - Oregon.

Amy believes that therapy should be a welcoming, inclusive space where all people feel seen, heard, and valued. Her core belief is that every person deserves the chance to live authentically and connect with others in meaningful ways. Amy feels most aligned in her work when she can create a space where clients feel safe enough to be fully themselves. She takes a natural, unstructured approach to therapy, allowing her clients’ lived experiences to guide the direction of their work together.

Amy enjoys integrating creative tools—like media, writing, and music—into therapy as a way to explore her clients’ inner worlds. Whether it’s a favorite TV show, a powerful song, or a meaningful book, she sees these as valuable entry points into deeper self-understanding. Most of all, Amy is passionate about meeting each person exactly where they are in their journey.

She works primarily with adult individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, and ADHD. Amy specializes in serving LGBTQ+ clients, offering inclusive, affirming, and culturally informed care. She has a particular interest in working with people who are new to therapy or who are seeking a fresh start after a previous therapy experience didn’t quite fit.

To strengthen her ability to support LGBTQ+ clients, Amy completed the Rainbow Certificate: Level 1 program through SAIGE (Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities). This specialized training equips clinicians with foundational knowledge and best practices for working affirmatively with LGBTQ+ individuals. The program emphasizes cultural humility, social justice, and the ethical responsibilities of mental health professionals in serving diverse sexual and gender identities.

Amy uses authenticity, humor, and the therapeutic relationship itself to create a space where clients can show up as their full selves.

Following the global pandemic, Amy reimagined what therapy could look like in a changing world. Experiencing the power of virtual therapy firsthand, she chose to shift her practice entirely to telehealth. This allows her to connect with clients across a wider geographic range while giving people the freedom to engage in therapy from a space that feels safe and familiar. By removing common barriers—like commuting, parking, and scheduling conflicts—telehealth offers flexibility and comfort, and helps equalize the traditional power dynamics often found in healthcare settings.

Amy has also completed a 30-hour supervision training course through George Fox University and is now a Supervisor Candidate registered with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (OBLPCT). She is excited to support developing counselors in their professional growth through reflective, collaborative supervision.

In her free time, you can find Amy dreaming up her next travel destination; being in, on, or near water; spending time with her dog; and drinking a cup of coffee with a good book.
